This afternoon, after I passed up my Final Year Project assignment and Jamran's Final Year Project assignment to my faculty office, I planned to pack up my belongings and go for a movie before I returned to my home. Since
<Into The Woods> is just released today, I planned to watch it at TGV Cheras Selatan. Around 03:00 p.m., I entered the cinema hall to enjoy the movie.
Movie Review<Into The Woods> is a very special film which is adopted from the book of same name because it combined with 4 fairy tales that we well known, such as "Little Red Riding Hood", "Cinderella", "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Rapunzel". In the beginning of the story, the witch entered the baker's house and told them the house was being curse and they won't get any baby. To remove the curse, they need to bring a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and a slipper as pure as gold. To find these items, they need to go into the woods. At the same time, Little Red Riding Hood entered the woods to her grandmother's house (as mentioned in the fairy tale), Jack entered the woods to go to the market to sell the cow and Cinderella entered the woods to wish to go to the festival. The baker saw Jack have cow and he buy it with the 5 special beans which his father was stole from witch's place long ago. When Jack's mother was get angry with what Jack got, she throw the beans away and the next day, the beans grow and there is beanstalk to the sky, which is to the Giant's place (as mentioned in the fairy tale). Cinderella went to her mother's grave and asked for the nice dress to go to the festival and every night run away from prince once it's reach midnight (as mentioned in the fairy tale). On every night Cinderella met the baker's wife. On the second day, the baker's wife overheard Rapunzel's prince mentioned that Rapunzel have the hair as yellow as corn. She learned that the witch asked Rapunzel to drop her hair by saying "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, so that I may climb the golden stair." (as mentioned in the fairy tale). She lied on Rapunzel and cut off her hair. For your information, Rapunzel is the baker's sister. On last night, the baker's wife try to buy the gold shoe with one special beans and Cinderella throw it away and it's grow the second beanstalk. Finally, she gave her the gold shoe as she don't want the prince chase after her. Finally, during the blue moon, they managed to collect 4 stuff and they have a baby. Cinderella is married with the prince (as mentioned in the fairy tale, prince find her by the shoe that she left). Jack is become rich (as mentioned in the fairy tale, he stole the golden harp from the Giant and kill the Giant upon he is chasing Jack). The thing changed when the Giant's wife came down and looking for Jack because he killed her husband. His mother was killed during her rampage. The baker's wife was killed when she fall from the cliff after Cinderella's prince was kissing her. Cinderella leave the prince because he did that. Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother and mother was killed. Four of them gathered together to kill Giant's wife and the rest of them decided to stay with the baker as Cinderella like to do cleaning, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack lose their family. This movie is not too bad and there are a lot of singing in the movie.
